Unemployment is one among the many problems confronting the youth which requires immediate solution especially in the developing and underdeveloped countries. St. Mary's Charitable Trust, in association with its sister concern St. Mary's International Recruitment Ltd., tries to find proper placement for many such candidates. The Trust extends financial assistance to the deserving members of our society for their education and professional training.

Child Labour is another problem characteristic of many developing and underdeveloped countries. There are nearly about 220 million child labourers worldwide and a good portion of such labourers are poorly paid and exploited by big and small industrialists alike. The urgent need of civilized society is to set them free. Once they are free they are to be rehabilitated and offered good education so that they are eligible to be part of our society with equal privileges for employment and education. St. Mary's Charitable Trust has, as its chief motives, the liberation of the hapless children from tedious workplaces and providing them with opportunities to undergo good education and thereby earn a good living.

With a view to offering help and support tothe aged discarded citizens,St. Mary's Charitable Trust launches on a programme to visit some of them in their shelters and assess what we can do for their sustenance and comfort. We plan to raise sufficient funds and distribute necessary items of dress, medicine and food for them through the concerned agencies engaged in the act of supporting and sheltering of the aged.
